This unique 6-day ski touring adventure combines the best of both worlds: resort skiing at Oukaimeden, North Africa's highest ski station, and authentic backcountry ski touring in the pristine valleys of the High Atlas Mountains.
Starting with piste skiing to warm up your legs, you'll then venture into the off-piste terrain of the Imnane valley system. The tour includes summit attempts on spectacular peaks like Bou Iguenouane (3,800m) with breathtaking views across to Mount Toubkal.
Perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers, this tour offers cultural immersion with overnight stays in traditional Berber villages and authentic mountain gites.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh
Airport transfer to traditional riad in the medina. Evening exploration of Djemaa el Fna square with its vibrant atmosphere and local entertainment.
Day 2: Marrakesh - Oukaimeden (2,650m) - Tachedirt (2,250m)
2-hour drive to Oukaimeden, North Africa's highest ski resort. Warm-up skiing on pistes, then ski tour over Tizi'n Eddi pass (2,928m) with descent to Tachedirt valley.
Day 3: Tachedirt - Bou Iguenouane Peak (3,800m) - Tachedirt
5-hour steady ascent to Bou Iguenouane summit with stunning views across to Mount Toubkal. Afternoon village visits to experience Berber culture.
Day 4: Tachedirt - Likkemt Pass (3,600m) - Marrakesh
Final ski tour to Likkemt pass with panoramic views of Tachedirt valley and surrounding peaks (Angour 3,600m, Aksoual 3,920m). Return to Marrakesh.
Day 5: Marrakesh Sightseeing Tour
Guided exploration of imperial city: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, spice markets, and traditional souks. Evening at leisure.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to airport for departure or extend your Moroccan adventure.
